Guys, FURL sucks. It has sucked for years, and I'm sorry I've been using it. I have switched over to delicious; I would have done this much sooner, but they made it really difficult the last time I tried.

Uhmm, apparently archives haven't really been working since late 2006. THANX for the heads up guys! They are temporarily fixed, and will stay temporarily fixed until I migrate to new software/layout. I have said some hilarious things in the last 7 years, that future generations will feel lucky I preserved. Go check them out.

Woah, it's been 3 years since the last news update! Fuzzysquid now has a webclips icon for your iPhone! It'll automagically show up when you add FS to your home screen. Atom and RSS feeds have been available for a few years now, but I never made special mention of it.

Since it seems to be popular, and it's been linked in a lot of different places besides here, I've decided to post the LJ Images page. At least in the news, at least for now. It's also getting some Google ads because you LiveJournal people are sucking up all my bandwidth (35% for that one page!)

you know, now that i think about it, voting was really confusing. (tues. was my first time in a booth; for the last election i was an absentee) i was there to vote in the democratic primary, but i guess i also had the option to vote in the republican primary? that's not right, is it? see, its not just a hardware problem with the machines (the one they used was the lever pulling types), its that there aren't any procedural instructions. i'm waiting for the day when all voting is done online. oh, and i'm still upset that i wasn't able to auction my vote on the web this year...

i voted this morning, at p.s. 69, the school i went to 12 years ago. its still pretty much the same. and this whole business about people wanting rudy to take a third term is ridiculous. term limits are a GOOD thing. you didn't see me complain about wanting to vote for clinton in the last election...

dude... this is really kinda scary that people are still comparing the attacks to pearl harbor. ... if america's final response to pearl harbor was the atomic bomb, then we wonder what our 'very competent leaders' have in mind as a reponse to these attacks be... [an eye for an eye leads the entire world blind] very appropriately, i saw this on a sign which called for a non-violent resolution...

This past thursday night, the Senate passed a disturbing bill that makes it even easier for our civil rights to be violated. there doesn't seem to be much more to say, despite what the mainstream news thinks (for alternate, more personal accounts, check some of the links at the main blogger page). to get a more objective point of view, i've been watching foreign newscasts, as ann suggested, which has been really interesting. i guess its going to take time before things get anywhere close to normal. but until then, i'm really not sure what to do...

 so my mom left the other night for taiwan. she's going to be gone for a month. i don't know what the hell is going to happen, since its just me and my dad in the house now. its like my own personal survivor. i'm going to have to compete with the cat for food. actually, it won't be so bad i think... the last month or so my mom's been kind of not getting the job done anyway, in terms of making dinner. things just hadn't been up to her normal standards. maybe this trip to the old country will do her good.

of all the chinese movies that have come out of hong kong this year, this has got to be the best one by far. i present to you from the creator of "god of cookery" stephen chow's shaolin soccer. i saw a bootleg of the movie this weekend and can't wait 'til it comes out on DVD. yes, it is that damn good!! i'm sure each one of you would want a copy of it also...
