The Bus Schedule project, done for my Information Design studio. The assignment was to re-design an existing Pittsburgh Transit bus schedule.

The main problem that I saw with the old schedule was that it relied solely on numeric data to convey information that was essentially graphic; it was a mess of text and numbers, daunting for the rider who just wants to know where to get on and off. My solution was to use an abstracted map along with time tables optimized for the limited space.
